Every Friday when new homework is assigned, students can volunteer to do the homework by Monday’s discussion. They submit the blog post form early and the class gets to talk about their example. These “early birds” will receive a token and a second chance to submit their work for the regular Thursday deadline. Each student can only earn this token twice. Yes, the student may receive a second token if their work has far exceeded the standard specification (“takes it to 11”).
