05-0 Sensing and Perceiving Where

Great job with the creature festival last week! The creatures enjoyed a Sports Day with Cotton Candy (sensorially fluffy), Scary Fest SpookOff Ice Cream (continuously chills the spine for hours), Halloween Cookies (scrumptiously symbolic), Mardi Gras BLTs (grouping of crispy and juicy ingredients), and Fourth of July Cake (uniformly delicious to all senses)! It was such an exciting day that the creatures needed a nap to come down from their Gestalt highs. Thank you Gestalt festival organizers!

This week is about how visuals help us improve memory. In Monday’s Class 11’s sketch participation, we are exploring orientation, depth cues and making a finger-scale treasure hunt map for our friends/roommates/family. There are three quick sketches I’m asking for– one that involves listening to instructions and drawing a route. . Bring your popcorn. The rest of the presentation contains videos with optical illusions demonstrating depth perception cues. There’s also a few inspiring videos at the end. Upload your sketches and maps to:
