For Class 24’s sketch participation, I’m asking you to have a little fun with data and chart visualizations.
- First, generate data by looking around your house at collections of things you own. Write down some data about them. Then, try drawing each type of chart to tell us about your collection. You can use different sets of data for different chart types (e.g. color of t-shirts in a pie charts, types of mugs in bar chart…).
- Second, get inspired by @michellerial and create some data-inspired photos stories using found objects. Think about the “thing-ness” and the story of how some quality about that thing is divided, or may increase or decrease over time.
