TOKEN: SASH Posters

Know where you are going, but deliver small tangible insights along the way to grow your support base and get feedback to keep your momentum.

Next week the RWU Student Academic Showcase is happening graduating and graduate students will happen in Show support for fellow students, and also get an idea of what you might be doing in a few years. Take a look at the schedule and scan posters or presentations that you plan to check out.

  1. Attend the showcase and find interesting works from fellow students. Take a picture of the scene (preferably with yourself in it).
  2. Talk to someone whose work you are interested in. Take a picture with them (it will help you remember the conversation, too). Ask them about their work, and listen to any advice they may have for you.
  3. Sketch some notes to yourself to remember what you saw.
  4. Write a blog post reflecting on the experience.

Post these 3 or more photos and a 300+ word essay answering the following questions:

  • What did you learn?
  • What was your “AHA” moment?
  • What was your reaction to talking with someone who presented that day?
  • Did you experience any other interesting works?

You can be awarded ONE (1) TOKEN for attending the SASH showcase. Spelling, grammar and word count are required. There is a limit of 10 submissions (possible 10 tokens.) for all Event Attendance Tokens throughout the semester.
